The Bihar School Examination Board Patna (BSEB) has officially released the application dates for grade 10 result scrutiny and compartment exams. The scrutiny process is intended for candidates dissatisfied with their recently declared Bihar board 10 results, seeking to have their copies rechecked for potential mark improvements. Meanwhile, the BSEB compartment exams cater to students placed in the compartment category.

The application links for BSEB Class 10 scrutiny and compartment exams will be accessible from April 3-9. The results of the compartment exams are slated to be announced by May 31, with specific exam dates to follow, as per BSEB.

This year, Bihar board’s grade 10th result revealed an overall pass percentage of 82.91%, marking a 1.87% increase from last year’s 81.04%. A minimum of 30% is required to pass the grade 10 matric exam.

For those wishing to apply for scrutiny, the process involves visiting the Bihar board’s official website and following these steps:

1. Visit the official website of the Bihar board.

2. Click on the designated scrutiny or recheck link.

3. Enter details such as roll code, roll number, and registration number.

4. Log in using the system-generated application ID.

5. Select subjects for scrutiny or rechecking by ticking the boxes next to each subject.

6. Proceed to the ‘fee payment’ option and pay the scrutiny fee via credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Applicants for the BSEB scrutiny process will be required to pay a fee per paper. This year’s results indicate that 4,52,302 students achieved first division, 5,24,965 students secured second division, and 3,80,732 students attained third division.
