Weather update today: After a night of torrential rain, Mumbai woke up to waterlogged roads on Monday morning. The downpour, which followed the Indian Meteorological Department’s (IMD) extended red-alert warning, brought the city to a standstill, disrupting road traffic, flights, and train services. Meanwhile, the IMD has also issued red alerts for several districts in Karnataka and Gujarat.
