Rail traffic was disrupted for three hours on Thursday after two coaches of a goods train derailed near the outer signal line while en route from Maharani Laxmi Bai Railway Junction in Jhansi to Kanpur. The incident caused delays and inconveniences on the affected route, officials reported.
Superintendent of Government Railway Police (GRP), Vipul Kumar Srivastava, confirmed the derailment and stated that while one of the rail lines remained operational, the disruption affected services significantly.
