As counting for the Delhi Assembly elections progresses, BJP appears to be heading towards a majority, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) struggles to keep up. Amid these developments, AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal has taken a veiled swipe at her own party through a social media post.

Maliwal, who has been vocal about issues in Delhi throughout the election season, posted an image of Draupadi’s disrobing from the Mahabharata — a symbolic reference often associated with betrayal and injustice. Though she provided no caption, the message seemed loud and clear.

Throughout the election campaign, Maliwal extensively toured different areas of Delhi, highlighting public grievances and openly criticising the AAP government. Even as votes are being counted, she continues to hold AAP accountable, with her latest post sparking speculation about internal discord within the party.

Th internet users were quick to react on Maliwal’s tweet. A user commented, “One woman solely destroyed AAP wave. Kudos.” “You are the game changer of Delhi Elections,” another user commented on her tweet.

The Rajya Sabha MP told Times Now, “God has punished Kejriwal…If he thought that by disrespecting a woman, he will win, he was mistaken.” “Arvind Kejriwal ji who was voted to power by Delhi on promises of making the capital clean, has turned the city into garbage. It’s shameful,” she further said.
