Did the woman fall while taking a selfie?
On the contrary, the woman seems to have slipped and fallen into a 100-foot narrow valley while attending to nature’s call amidst heavy rainfall, as per an official.
The video of the rescue went viral on social media. It shows how the locals put their efforts by throwing a thick rope into George and a man helping her to come out. After the incident, the local administration banned the area for tourists.
This incident again throws light on why one needs to be careful while taking selfies. Many incidents have been reported about how people are usually going to any extent to click pictures and hence risking their lives. Last month, a Mumbai-based chartered accountant Anvi Kamdar fell into a gorge while recording a video and died in Raigad district of Maharashtra.
