On the eve of the Navratri festival, a music video featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Garba composition, ‘Garbo,’ was released.

PM Modi had penned this Garba song years ago. The song titled ‘Garbo’ is voiced by Dhvani Bhanushali and composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The song is 190-second long.

Jjust Music, founded by actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, presented the song on YouTube, framing it as an evocative representation of the vibrant cultural spirit of Gujarat during Navratri.

He also mentioned about a new Garba that was written over the last few days and said that it will be shared during Navratri.

The song rapidly gained traction, garnering an impressive million views on YouTube within a mere six hours of its release, marking its widespread appeal. Concurrently, PM Modi revealed his recent composition efforts, teasing a new Garba creation to be shared during the forthcoming Navratri festival.

In response to the video, PM Modi expressed gratitude to Dhvani Bhanushali, Tanishk Bagchi, and the Jjust Music team for their exquisite interpretation of the Garba piece he penned years ago, remarking on its evocative charm. He took to X to thank the Jjust team.

Bhanushali and Bagchi reciprocated the appreciation, expressing their fondness for the Prime Minister’s original work and highlighting their aspiration to infuse the song with contemporary rhythms and an innovative composition, acknowledging the music label’s instrumental role in bringing their vision to life.

Navratri, a prominent Hindu festival celebrated throughout India, particularly ignites fervor in Gujarat, hosting a nine-night-long dance celebration, making it one of the lengthiest festive extravaganzas globally.

Navratri begins on October 15, 2023 and will last for nine nights.

The traditional Ras Garba music often integrates narratives of Lord Krishna and the Gopis, encapsulating their emotional resonance within the festive jubilation.
