The constituency witnessed a voter turnout of 69.47%. Overall voter turnout in Bihar witnessed a record surge to 66.91%.

The survey released on Wednesday shows that the NDA is facing a close contest with the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar.
According to the My Axis India poll, the NDA is expected to get 43% of the votes, only slightly ahead of the Mahagathbandhan’s 41%. The survey also suggests that RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, who is the Mahagathbandhan’s chief ministerial candidate, is more popular for the top post than current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
