The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued rainfall alerts over several parts including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Karaikal, south interior Karnataka etc. Meanwhile, thunderstorm activity is likely over Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and south Rajasthan during November 25 to 27.
Uttarakhand is also likely to witness thunderstorms and lightning accompanied with hail at isolated places on November 27th. A cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge over South Andaman Sea and neighbourhood on Saturday.

- Delhi: The national capital will experience a partially cloudy sky today with a shallow fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 26 and 10 degrees Celsius respectively. On Thursday, the maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 29.5 and 9.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
- West Bengal and Sikkim: Kolkata will witness a clear sky today. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the ‘City of Joy’ would be around 28 and 18 degrees Celsius respectively. The light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Sikkim and Darjeeling, Kalimpong districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal. Dry weather most likely over the rest districts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
- Jammu and Kashmir: The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir will witness isolated very light rainfall accompanied with snowfall and thunderstorm in the higher reaches. While, dry weather will prevail in the plains area. The maximum and minimum temperatures in Srinagar would be around 14 and 0 degrees Celsius respectively.
- Tamil Nadu: The heavy to very rainfall is likely to take place at isolated places over Nilgiris, Theni, and Thenkasi and Coimbatore districts of Tamil Nadu. The heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over Erode, Tiruppur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi districts.
