Goshamahal Constituency Election Result 2023: BJP leader T Raja Singh has won from the Goshamahal constituency in Telangana defeating his nearest rival Nand Kishore Vyas by over 20,000 votes. Singh polled 80,182 votes and Vyas polled 58,725 votes. The winning margin stood at 21,457 votes. Congress candidate Mogili Sunitha is third polling 6,265 votes. Counting of votes in the Goshamahal constituency began at 8 AM. The results were declared after the completion of 17 rounds of counting.

Goshamahal is one of the 119 Assembly constituencies in Telangana. Situated in the Hyderabad district, it is a General category assembly seat and is one of the seven assembly segments of the Hyderabad Parliament Seat. In the 2018 Assembly Election, the voter turnout of the Goshamahal Assembly was 58.73 per cent. Telangana voted on November 30, which witnessed a voter turnout of 71.34 per cent.

BJP leader T Raja Singh has won from the Goshamahal constituency defeating his nearest rival Nand Kishore Vyas by over 20,000 votes.
As per ECI data, T Raja Singh of the BJP is set to win. He has polled over 66,000 votes as Round 13 of counting is underway.
A year later, the BJP, in October 2023, had revoked the suspension. His name appeared in the party’s first list of candidates for the November 30 elections.
BJP MLA T Raja Singh from Goshamahal was arrested on August 25, 2022, under the Preventive Detention Act after he allegedly insulted Prophet Mohammed in a video released in response to stand-up comic Munawar Faruqui’s show in Hyderabad. Though he was released on bail immediately after his arrest, the state government invoked the Act against him and he was lodged in the Cherlapally central prison. In November, the Telangana High Court ordered the release of the BJP MLA.
As of 1.34 PM, NOTA (None of the Above) option has polled 475 votes from the constituency, as per latest trends, ECI data shows.
As of 1.34 PM, T Raja Singh of BJP is leading with 55,521 votes while Nand Kishore Vyas of the BRS has polled 34,988 votes. The margin stands at 20,533, according to ECI data. Mogili Sunitha of the Congress is third with 4,466 votes.
