Harsh Chhikara Gohana Assembly Election Result 2024: BJP candidate Arvind Kumar Sharma is leading the race for the Gohana constituency with 29,833 votes in the ongoing vote counting for the Haryana Assembly election results of 2024, as per the latest updates from the Election Commission of India (ECI). Sharma is competing against Congress’s Jagbir Singh Malik, JJP’s Kuldeep Malik, AAP’s Shiv Kumar Rangeela, and BSP’s Dinesh Kumar.
Jagbir Singh Malik of the Indian National Congress, along with Independent candidates Harsh Chhikara and Rajvir Singh Dahiya, as well as Shiv Kumar Rangeela of AAP, are currently trailing in the race.
Gohana, located in the Sonipat district in Central Haryana, is one of the 90 Assembly constituencies in the state. Classified as a semi-urban seat, Gohana falls under the Sonipat (General) Lok Sabha constituency. The voting for this seat took place on October 5, 2024, and the counting of votes is ongoing today, October 8, 2024.
A total of 11 candidates contested for the Gohana Assembly seat in this election. Among them are Arun Ninaniya (IND), Arvind (IND), Arvind Kumar Sharma (BJP), Dinesh Kumar (BSP), Harsh Chhikara (IND), Jagbir Singh Malik (INC), Kuldeep Malik (JJP), Rajbir (IND), Rajvir Singh Dahiya (IND), Shiv Kumar Rangeela (AAP), and Sunny (IND).
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Congress (INC) led in the Gohana Assembly segment, with Satpal Brahamchari of INC winning the Sonipat Lok Sabha seat by defeating BJP’s Mohan Lal Badoli.
