Earthquake in Delhi: A medium-intensity earthquake today shook Delhi and Punjab – earlier in the day Gujarat reported one too.

The earthquake in India measured 4.6 on the Richter scale hit the India-Pakistan border region in Punjab at 5:24 PM. While the quake was not really big, it still managed to shake Delhi.

The epicentre of the earthquake was Indo-Pak border and it hit at a depth of 15 kms, according to the IMD arm, the National Centre for Seismology, a unit of Ministry of Earth Sciences.

Operations Head, NCS J L Gautam revealed, “The epicentre was on the Indian side, but very close to the border.”
