Live Delhi Election 2025: Real reason why AAP collapsed

When the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was formed in 2012, Arvind Kejriwal was seen as an honest and simple leader. He traveled in a small blue WagonR, used public transport like the metro and auto-rickshaws and dressed modestly with his signature muffler. He criticized politicians for their lavish lifestyles and promised to live in a small two-room house if he became Chief Minister. He even signed affidavits saying he would not use government security or official cars.

However, over time, Kejriwal changed. He moves around in a convoy of luxury cars, lives in a grand house called ‘Sheesh Mahal,’ which was reportedly renovated for crores, and has security from both Delhi and Punjab police. The BJP has repeatedly pointed out these changes, making them key election issues.
