The body of former model Divya Pahuja, who was shot dead at a hotel in Gurugram, was recovered from a canal in Haryana, ANI reported.
“Model Divya Pahuja murder case: Divya Pahuja’s body found in a canal in Tohana, Haryana,” said Subhash Boken, PRO Gurugram Police.
The body has been recovered from the subsidiary canal of the Bhakra canal in Tohana in Fatehabad district, said Gurugram Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Varun Kumar Dahiya.
On January 2, 27-year-old Pahuja was shot dead in a hotel room in Gurugram because she had allegedly been extorting money from the hotel owner by blackmailing him with his “obscene pictures”, police had said.
