Bihar election news: The Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United) on Sunday expressed hope that it will form the next government in Bihar – Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal and Rahul Gandhi’s Congress are part of the tie-up.
“Be it Patna region, Bhagalpur or any other region, we will soon pick up leads and results would be in our favour as the counting proceeds,” JD-U spokesperson Nihora Prasad told CNN-IBN.
Counting of votes polled in the five-phase assembly polls began on Sunday and it gave a resounding victory to Nitish Kumar-led janata Dal (United) Grand Alliance.
