Bellary Lok Sabha Election 2024 Result Highlights: Karnataka’s Bellary Lok Sabha constituency remains instrumental in shaping the political narrative of the state. It went to polls on May 7 and witnessed a voter turnout of 73.59 per cent. It comprises eight assembly segments – Hadagalli, Bellary, Bellary City, Sandur, Hagaribommanahalli, Kudligi, Kampli, and Vijayanagara.
In Karnataka, the BJP won 17 seats, while the Congress and JD(S) won 9 and 2 seats, respectively. BJP lost its Bellary seat to Congress. E Tukaram defeated B Sriramulu by 98,992 votes.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP’s Y. Devendrappa triumphed in the Bellary constituency, winning with 616,388 votes. His closest competitor, VS Ugrappa of the INC, secured 560,681 votes, resulting in Devendrappa’s victory by a margin of 55,707 votes.

The early trends on Bengaluru seats were as follows:
Bengaluru Rural: DK Suresh, the incumbent MP and brother of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, is trailing by 83,000 votes against BJP candidate Dr. CN Manjunath.
Bengaluru South: BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, seeking a second term, is leading against Congress candidate Sowmya Reddy by over 81,000 votes.
Bengaluru Central: Congress candidate Mansoor Ali Khan is leading by over 8,000 votes against BJP’s PC Mohan.
Bengaluru North: BJP candidate Shobha Karandlaje is ahead by 49,000 votes against Congress candidate Prof. Rajeev Gowda.
