Bangalore Lok Sabha Election 2024 Results Live Updates: Within Karnataka, Bengaluru plays the role of one of the most crucial fronts among all the 28 Lok Sabha constituencies. The four Lok Sabha constituencies in the city are Bangalore North, Bangalore South, Bangalore Central, and Bangalore Rural. These four constituencies went to polls in the second phase on April 26 and saw a vote turnout of 54.45 per cent, 53.17 per cent, 54.06 per cent and 68.30 per cent, respectively.
Today, June 4, the BJP won 17 seats in Karnataka, along with making a clean sweep in all the four constituencies in Bengaluru.
In Bangalore South, BJP candidate Tejasvi Surya witnessed a landslide victory with 750830 votes. He defeated Sowmya Reddy by a margin 277083 votes.

BJP candidate PC Mohan has won from Bangalore Central by a margin of 32707 votes, beating his closest contender Mansoor Ali Khan of INC.
The Election Commission has announced the results of 10 seats in the state so far, out of which BJP has won on seven seats. Here’s the list of seats won by the party:
1. Haveri seat – BASAVARAJ BOMMAI – 43513 (Vote Margin)
2. Dharwad – PRALHAD JOSHI – 97324 (Vote Margin)
3. Shimoga – B.Y.RAGHAVENDRA – 243715 (Vote Margin)
4. Dakshina Kannada – CAPTAIN BRIJESH CHOWTA – 149208 (Vote Margin)
5. Chitradurga – GOVIND MAKTHAPPA KARJOL – 48121 (Vote Margin)
6. Tumkur – V. SOMANNA – 175594 (Vote Margin)
7. Uttara Kannada – VISHWESHWAR HEGDE KAGERI – 337428 (Vote Margin)
BJP's Govind Makthappa Karjol has won from Chitradurga seat by a margin of 48,121 votes.
Besides Bangalore North and Bangalore South, the BJP is also leading in Bangalore Rural with CN Manjunath running ahead by 177468 votes, meanwhile, INC's DK Suresh is trailing in the race.
BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Tuesday remarked that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popularity is 'historic' on a global scale. Surya, who is seeking reelection from the Bangalore South Lok Sabha constituency, also criticised the 'mindless appeasement' by opposition parties, PTI reported.
The early trends on Bengaluru seats were as follows:
Bengaluru Rural: DK Suresh, the incumbent MP and brother of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, is trailing by 83,000 votes against BJP candidate Dr. CN Manjunath.
Bengaluru South: BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, seeking a second term, is leading against Congress candidate Sowmya Reddy by over 81,000 votes.
Bengaluru Central: Congress candidate Mansoor Ali Khan is leading by over 8,000 votes against BJP’s PC Mohan.
Bengaluru North: BJP candidate Shobha Karandlaje is ahead by 49,000 votes against Congress candidate Prof. Rajeev Gowda.

The key candidates in Bangalore central were BJP’s P Chikkamuni Mohan, Mansoor Ali Khan of INC and Satish Chandra M from BSP. Meanwhile, BJP’s Shobha Karandlaje contested and won from Bangalore North in a head-to-head with INC’s Rajeev Gowda and BSP’s Govindaiah.
For Bangalore South, BJP fielded Tejasvi Surya, while INC decided to go with Sowmya Reddy. Rural Bangalore, which saw the highest turnout amongst them all, saw Congress’s incumbent MP, DK. Suresh, brother of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, lose against BJP’s CN Manjunath, son-in-law of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda.
In 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, PC Mohan of BJP won in the Bangalore Central, while their DV Sadananda Gowda emerged victorious as the winning candidate in Bangalore North. Tejasvi Surya was the winning candidate from the Bangalore South and Rural Bangalore saw INC’s DK Suresh of the INC clinching victory.
