Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Oath Ceremony Highlights: N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday took oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen sharing the stage with Naidu. Along with Home Minister Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Nitin Gadkari, and other VVIPs, noted dignataries were seen present at the ceremony. The event was held at Kesarapalli IT Park near Gannavaram Airport on the outskirts of Vijayawada. Naidu’s coalition, comprising the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Janasena, surged back into power, securing a commanding 164 out of 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

Chandrababu Naidu, along with Nara Lokesh, K Atchannaidu, Nadendla Manohar, P Narayana, Kollu Ravindra, Nimmala Rama Naidu, and Satya Kumar Yadav, took their oaths as ministers. Pawan Kalyan's party got three minister positions, and BJP got one. The Andhra Pradesh assembly has 175 members, so the cabinet can have up to 26 ministers, including the CM.
B C Janaradhan Reddy, T G Bharat, S Savitha, and Vasamsetti Subhash take oath as state ministers.
The three JSP MLAs who are part of the Andhra Cabinet now include Pawan Kalyan, Nadendla Manohar, and Kandula Durgesh.
Gottipati Ravi Kumar, Kandula Durgesh, Gummadi Sandhya Rani take oath as Andhra Ministers.
Kolusu Parthasarthy, Dr Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, Anagani Satya Prasad, and Payyavula Keshav take oath as Andhra ministers.
N Mohammed Farooq, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy take oath as Andhra Ministers. Reddy is a 7-time MLA from the state.

Ahead of Naidu's swearing-in ceremony, the Congress on Wednesday asked PM Modi whether he would deliver special category status for Andhra Pradesh or not.
Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh took to platform X, formerly Twitter, and shared his speech from seven years ago where he talked about the Modi government's "failure" to deliver on the promise of the AP Reorganisation Act of 2014.
Former Telangana Governor has also arrived at Vijaywada to attend the swearing-in ceremony of TDP chief & Andhra Pradesh CM-designate N Chandrababu Naidu.
PM Narendra Modi will reportedly land at Gannavaram airport shortly. Once the PM lands, he will be heading over to the venue of Naidu's swearing-in ceremony. This is the fourth time that Naidu will take the oath as Andhra CM.

The swearing-in ceremony is expected to begin any moment now as guests have already arrived at the venue.
Reports of traffic congestion have started coming in as politicians, film celebrities, VVIPs, and political activists from various parts of the country have arrived in Vijayawada for the swearing-in ceremony of N Chandrababu Naidu. In anticipation of the large gathering of TDP supporters, fans, and leaders from Hyderabad, traffic restrictions have been enforced on the Vijayawada National Highways. To facilitate a seamless flow of traffic for the arriving leaders and attendees heading to Kesarapally, authorities have implemented diversions on all three routes.

NCP leader Praful Patel has arrived in Vijayawada to attend the swearing-in ceremony of TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh CM-designate N Chandrababu Naidu. While speaking to ANI, Patel praised Naidu as a dynamic leader and visionary who has previously transformed Andhra Pradesh. Patel also commended Pawan Kalyan for altering public perceptions of politicians and expressed optimism about the collaborative efforts of Naidu and Kalyan in bringing positive change and transformation to Andhra Pradesh.
Actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna met Union Ministers Chirag Paswan and Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu on Wednesday at Gannavaram Mandal, Kesarapalli IT Park ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of Andhra Pradesh CM-designate N Chandrababu Naidu. TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh has also arrived at the venue.
Apart from Rajinikanth, Tollywood actors including Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Mohan Babu are also expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
Post his 2019 defeat, N Chandrababu Naidu faced another significant setback when he got arrested in the Skill Development Corporation Scam case by the YSRCP government in 2023. After his arrest, Naidu remained in Rajamahendravaram Central Jail for almost two months. However, he was granted interim bail on October 31, which was later made permanent on November 20. This enabled him to focus on preparing for the 2024 elections and to rejoin the NDA alliance with TDP, BJP, and Janasena.
Konidela Pawan Kalyan, Nadendla Manohar, and Kandula Durgesh will take the oath as ministers representing the Janasena Party, while Satya Kumar Yadav will be the sole BJP MLA taking the oath today as a minister in the Naidu cabinet.
