Bollywood actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha on Friday dropped some big hints about his future course of action just ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha election 2019. Sinha, who has been openly criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah, in a series of tweets, said that time has come for a better leadership to takeover.
Without naming PM Modi, the 72-year-old leader said that the current leadership lacks credibility as promises made in the past are yet to be fulfilled.

“Sir, the Nation respects you, but the only thing the leadership lacks is credibility & trust factor. “Leadership jo kar rahi hai or jo kah rahi hai, kya log uspe vishwas kar rahein hain? Shayad nahin!” Any way it all seems to be too little and too late? Promises made in the past are still to be fulfilled,” Sinha who represents Patna Sahib seat in Lok Sabha said.

“Hope, wish & pray, though I may not be with you anymore – “Mohabbat karne vaale kam na honge, (shayad) teri mehfil mein lekin hum na honge,” the outspoken leader added.
Shatrughan Sinha also attacked PM Modi for announcing hundreds of projects in UP, Varanasi and other parts of the country in the last week/month of his tenure.

Having been with the BJP since the 1990s, Sinha had served as a minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government and is serving his second consecutive term as MP.
Shatrughan Sinha, who is popularly known as ‘Shot Gun’ or ‘Bihari Babu’, has praised Congress president Rahul Gandhi on several occasions in the recent past. He also attended a rally of Opposition parties organised by Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata in January this year.
