The Reserve Bank of India has appointed Arun Kumar Singh, a retired chief general manager of RBI, as an additional director on the board of Bandhan Bank. The appointment is for a period for one year starting from June 24, said Bandhan Bank in exchange filing on Monday. The term of Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, MD and CEO of the bank is coming to end on July 9.
The appointment is to assist in orderly smooth transition and to support board oversight and there are no other material concerns with the bank, sources told FE.
