Southern Railway has planned to operate Special trains on several routes in view of the upcoming Diwali. The move is to clear an extra rush of passengers during the festive season. The ticket bookings for the special trains have commenced and are available in both online and offline mode.

For Online mode, the ticket can be booked through the official portal of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and its mobile application. For offline mode, the passengers need to visit the PRS counter at the stations.

Train No. 06061 Tambaram-Nagercoil Superfast Festival Special

  • Timings: The train number 06061 Tambaram – Nagercoil Superfast Festival Special Fare Special will leave Tambaram at 19:30 hrs o­n 10th, 17th, 24th November, 2023 (Fridays) and reach Nagercoil at 07:10 hrs, the next day (3 Services).
  • Coach Composition: The train is composed of 20 coaches. These are – 1- AC Two Tier Coach, 6- AC Three Tier Coaches, 9- Sleeper Class Coaches, 2- General Second Class Coaches & 2- Second Class Coaches (Divyangjan Friendly).
