The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) will be conducting a workshop on October 7 to reach out to potential bidders regarding the availability of commercial spaces along Navi Mumbai’s Metro Line 1, The Indian Express reported. The Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 covers 11 stations and is 11-kilometre-long.

The workshop is scheduled to take place at the Central Park Station of the Navi Mumbai Metro in Kharghar, beginning at 11:30 am. It will focus on the alignment of the Metro line, regional connectivity, and leasing opportunities for commercial spaces, as well as the tender process and related formalities. Participants will have the chance to provide suggestions and can also join a site visit planned for after the workshop.

The Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 commenced operations on November 17, 2023. CIDCO has designated 40 square meters of space at each Metro station for indoor commercial use, along with an additional 7,065 square meters across five stations for outdoor commercial activities.
