Mumbai Metro extends timings

Earlier, the Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Ltd. (MMMOCL) had announced an extension of its train services in the city during the Navratri festival. The additional services will be available from October 7 to October 11, 2024, in accordance with the guidelines set by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who also serves as the Chairman of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

During this period, 12 additional trips will be operated daily, with a frequency of just 15 minutes, to meet the increased demand for late-night travel. This will raise the total number of daily trips from 282 to 294. The extra metro services will run beyond 11 PM on routes between Andheri West and Gundavali, ensuring convenient and affordable travel for those attending midnight celebrations.
