Sun Drops Energia, a subsidiary of KPI Green Energy, has secured a second consecutive order from Avichal Power. This time the project is for the development of a 100 MW solar power project in Gujarat. This marks the, reflecting their continued trust in Sun Drops Energia’s capabilities.

Project to be delivered in tranches by FY27

The project is scheduled to be executed in phases, with completion expected in the financial year 2026-27. The contract involves turnkey delivery, which means Sun Drops Energia will handle everything—from engineering and procurement to construction (EPC) of the solar plant.

As part of the scope of work, the company will supply advanced module mounting structures, balance-of-plant materials, and carry out civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation works. The company will also be responsible for the comprehensive operations and maintenance of the plant throughout its lifecycle.

Domestic deal, not a related party transaction

The deal is with a domestic entity and does not involve any related party transaction, the company clarified. There is no promoter or group company interest in Avichal Power Private.

Share price of KPI Green Energy

Following the announcement, the share price of KPI Green Energy surged by 1.54 per cent and was trading at Rs 517 as of 2:10 PM.

KPI Green Energy reported a more than two-fold increase in consolidated net profit for Q4 FY25, reaching Rs 104.18 crore, compared to Rs 43.04 crore in the same period last year, driven by robust revenue growth. The company’s revenue surged nearly 97%, rising to Rs 577.80 crore from Rs 292.96 crore in Q4 FY24.
