Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. on Tuesday announced the expansion of its Hyperservice initiative with the launch of dedicated centres offering same-day service guarantees at no additional cost. As part of the rollout, the company will progressively upgrade its existing service centres into Hyperservice Centres, beginning with Bengaluru. The first such centre has become operational in Indiranagar.

Following the Bengaluru launch, Olatech Solutions Ltd. plans to rapidly upgrade select service centres into Hyperservice Centres across the country over the coming weeks, scaling up service infrastructure nationwide.

Backdrop of the announcement

The same-day service initiative comes at a time when poor after-sales service, delivery delays, and a spate of customer complaints have severely hurt Ola Electric’s reputation and eroded its market share. The company has seen a more than 70% year-on-year decline in monthly sales to 8,400 units in November, slipping to fifth place behind Hero Vida in the monthly electric two-wheeler sales ranking.

“As part of the ongoing service upgrade we are reimagining many of the fundamental aspects of the service experience. We see it as a core part of Ola ownership, and it needs the same level of innovation as the product itself,” an Ola spokesperson said. They added that using technology, process redesign and scale to remove friction and give every Ola customer a faster, simpler and more transparent service experience.

Hyperservice centres

Hyperservice Centres will feature a dedicated customer lounge, free Wi-Fi, and real-time digital visibility across every stage of servicing—from check-in to delivery—aimed at improving speed, transparency, and trust.

The company recently also announced plans to scale up Hyperservice into an open platform, making its genuine spare parts, diagnostic tools, and service training modules available to independent garages, mechanics, and fleet operators. Under the initiative, Ola’s spare parts can be purchased directly through the Ola Electric customer app and website, allowing customers and garages to access certified components without intermediaries.

Shares of Ola Electric were trading 1% higher at ₹34.97 on the NSE.
