The Lubrizol Corporation, has announced the appointment of Bhavana Bindra as Managing Director for the India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA) region. The company’s newly created role is to reflect its commitment to accelerating growth in this strategic market.

It is a Berkshire Hathaway, specialised as a chemical company that delivers sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve well-being, and enhance modern life. With the appointment of Bhavana, the company aims to bring a wealth of leadership and industrial experience to her new position.

JT Jones, Senior Vice President of High Growth Regions at Lubrizol, expressed excitement about Bhavana’s appointment, stating, “Lubrizol has a long history of success across India, Middle East and Africa, and we look forward to further growing and strengthening our support for our customers and partners in these regions.”

Adding further he said, “We have incredible talent across the region and look forward to expanding our team and our footprint across the Region.”

With a career spanning over two decades in the manufacturing sector and roles in esteemed companies such as REHAU and Cummins India, her role as Managing Director for Lubrizol IMEA, will lead the regional team towards achieving growth targets through a local-for-local approach.

She will also be responsible for collaborating closely with company’s leaders across various functions to capitalize on localized market opportunities and foster stronger relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders within the region.

Additionally, Bhavana’s job will be to oversee the establishment of a new Global Capability Center in Pune, India. This center will serve as a regional hub, enhancing the company’s capabilities to drive growth in the IMEA region.

This appointment is part of Lubrizol’s commitment to deliver to the IMEA region, which includes a $150 million investment in India to fuel growth initiatives. Notably, this investment encompasses the construction of a state-of-the-art CPVC resin plant in Vilayat, India, set to become the world’s largest CPVC resin plant upon its completion in 2025.
