Larsen & Toubro’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has secured ‘major’ orders, valued in the range of Rs 5,000 – 10,000 crore, for the development of one of the largest proposed IT parks in Bengaluru.

In its regulatory filing, the company said the order is from a reputed MNC to construct 5.9 million sq. ft. of office space on a lumpsum turnkey basis.

L&T: Six office towers planned

The key features include Grade A office space development on a warm shell basis with USGBC New Building – Platinum rating towards LEED Certification for sustainability. As part of the scope, L&T will construct six towers, each rising up to 14 storeys (three basements, ground, 10 upper floors, and terrace).

The works will include civil structures, unitized façade glazing, finishes, architectural lighting, and electromechanical services such as HVAC, elevators, and electrical systems. It will also cover a GIS substation, solar PV system, LPG gas bank, water and sewage treatment plants, underground tanks, and stack parking facilities. Landscaping, hardscaping, and irrigation for external development will also be part of the project.

Mixed-use development project win in Mumbai

The company’s Buildings & Factories vertical has also secured an order from a reputed developer to construct a mixed-use development project in Mumbai. The project is to be executed within a timeline of 45 months.
