Jubilant Foodworks on Monday announced that Ashish Goenka, the company’s president, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) has resigned from the company’s services. His last working day as the CFO and the KMP of the company would be December 15, 2023 and the date of resignation was November 20, 2023, it said in a regulatory filing. He informed the company that he will be taking up an external opportunity.

“We wish to inform that Ashish Goenka, President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the Company has resigned from the services of the Company vide Resignation letter dated November 20, 2023. His last working day as the CFO and KMP of the Company would be December 15, 2023 (close of business hours),” it said in the filing. 

In his resignation letter, Ashish Goenka said, “I hereby tender my resignation from the position of President & CFO and as KMP of Jubilant FoodWorks Limited to take up an external opportunity. I request you to relieve me from my role and responsibilities with effect from the close of business hours on December 15, 2023.” 

“I would like to thank you and the Board of Directors for the confidence in me and the support provided throughout my tenure,” he further added.

Earlier last month, Jubilant Foodworks had posted second quarter profit at Rs 97.20 crore, down 26.1 per cent in comparison to Rs 131.53 crore during the second quarter of FY23. It had posted revenue from operations at Rs 1368.63 crore, up 5.2 per cent as against Rs 1301.49 crore during the corresponding quarter of last year. “The growth was driven by Domino’s delivery channel sales which increased by 7.9 per cent. The average daily sales of mature stores, came in at Rs 81,658, up by 1.4 per cent sequentially. Domino’s LFL came in at -1.3 per cent,” it had said.
