Infosys reported a 13.19 per cent YoY profit growth in the second quarter of FY26. The company’s consolidated net profit grew to Rs 7,364 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to Rs 6,506 crore in Q2 FY25. 

The tech company’s revenue also grew by 8.55 per cent YoY in the quarter. Infosys’ consolidated revenue from operations in Q2 FY26 stood at Rs 44,990 crore, while its revenue in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year was Rs 40,986 crore.

Infosys announces dividend 

Furthermore, Infosys announced an interim dividend of Rs 23 per equity share. The company. In Q2 FY25, the company had announced an interim dividend of Rs 21 per equity share. 

Revenue guidance 

Infosys has revised its revenue guidance for FY26 to 2 per cent to 3 per cent. Last quarter, the company’s revenue guidance was at 1 per cent to 3 per cent. 

Infosys’ operating margin guidance remains unchanged at 20-22 per cent. 

Infosys deals and clients in Q2

Infosys said that the total value of Large Deal TCV in the quarter was $3.1 billion. The company added that of the Large Deal TCV, 67 per cent were net new. 

Furthermore, the company stated that its total client count reached 1,896 in Q2 FY26. The company added 118 new clients in the quarter. 

Infosys AI scale-up

Salil Parekh, CEO and MD, said that the company deeply understands clients’ priorities to deliver value from AI in the current environment.

Infosys profit margin

Infosys’ operating margin remained stable at 21 per cent in the Q1 FY26. In the same quarter of FY25, the company’s operating was at 21 per cent. 

Infosys’ employee count grows 

Infosys’ total headcount also increased on a total QoQ and YoY basis. In Q2 FY26, the company’s total employee count was 3,32,991. In Q1 FY26 and Q2 FY25, Infosys’ total headcount was 3,23,788 and 3,17,788, respectively. 

The company’s top management said that it hired about 12,000 freshers in the first half of the financial year 2025-26.
