The exhibition is an ideal platform for professionals from the Automobile Industry, Engineering Industry, Defense & Aerospace, Railways, Technology Suppliers & Technology Seekers, Energy & Infrastructure etc to meet their business/organization needs. The Foundry industry currently produces 10 Million Tons approx of cast components in ferrous & non ferrous category as per various international standards. The foundry sector’s annual turnover is approx USD 18 Billion at current production rates. It is however only 10% of global production by weight.
Naresh Garg, Chairman, IFC & IFEX 2015 said, “Foundry is the mother industry which has a role in various other industries. However unfortunately this sector has not received the attention it deserves as it is an industry which has been contributing indirectly which is not visible. India’s foundry Industry is the 3rd Largest in the world and can easily become the second largest. IFEX 2015 & CAST INDIA EXPO is a unique platform where all the stakeholders of the foundry Industry can meet and interact. One could call it the ‘Annual Kumbh’ of the Foundry Industry, which is akin to an annual confluence the entire foundry sector and industry stakeholders at one venue.”
