Dr. Lal Pathlabs on Tuesday announced that it has re-designated Ved Prakash Goel, Group Chief Financial Officer (KMP) as Group Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer – International Business (KMP) with effect from August 13, 2024.
Ved Prakash Goel is a Chartered Accountant and LLB with more than 28 years’ experience. He also did Senior Leadership programs from IIMA and ISB. “He worked in different industries including Manufacturing, Mines, Engineering, Infrastructure and Healthcare Services. He has a strong expertise in Financial & Strategic Planning and execution, Fund Raising, Legal & Corporate Affairs, Merger & Acquisition (M&A), Direct & Indirect Taxes and various other areas related to finance,” the company said in its exchange filing.
Goel was instrumental in bringing the Company’s IPO in 2015 and led many small and mid-size M&A including a large size deal of Suburban Diagnostics in Mumbai in 2021.
Last week, Dr Lal PathLabs Ltd reported its fiscal first quarter earnings with profit growth of 28.9 per cent at Rs 107.80 crore in comparison to Rs 83.60 crore recorded during the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal year, beating estimates. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 601.90 crore, up 11.3 per cent as against Rs 541.00 crore during the same period of FY24. The company EBITDA stood at Rs 170 crore.
