Hitachi Payment Services, a payments and commerce solutions provider, has announced the launch of its program, HPX. 

According to an official release, through the HPX initiative, Hitachi Payment Services will collaborate with disruptors in the fintech and payments segment, and thereby provide payment experiences for businesses and consumers. From what it’s understood, this program will bring entrepreneurs who have been working on technology-led solutions to shape the future of payments.

Reportedly, the HPX initiative offers benefits for participants, including access to capital, commercialisation of payment solutions, access to industry partnerships, and the opportunity to extend their influence beyond India’s borders. As a part of HPX, the company is expected to focus on segments such as core banking, Banking-as-a-Service, embedded finance, Web3.0/ CBDC, issuance, payments compliance and AI/GenAI.
