GoTo launches its new AI assistant named GoPilot

GoTo, an IT management, support, and business communications company, has announced GoPilot, its new AI assistant for GoTo Resolve. 

According to an official release, GoPilot gives IT professionals an interactive assistant that provides a view of their endpoints, automates diagnostics, guides users through resolutions, and learns as it goes to get ahead of potential future disruptions. Reportedly, GoPilot utilises OpenAI’s API platform and a GoTo-owned AI stack to provide an AI assistant that operates across IT management and support. Seemingly, the assistant can eliminate tasks such as manually scanning system diagnostics screens and patch updates to identify issues, and frees up resources for higher-value projects. From what it’s understood, GoPilot also leverages conversational language prompts and commands.

Sources suggest that GoPilot can provide benefits such as streamlining device diagnostics, which enables automated collection and analysis of data across network devices, removing language barriers to support global teams, through live AI-powered translations of languages displayed on the end user screen, eliminating note-taking and session recaps, using automatic screenshot capturing and analysis in the background of support sessions, simplifying patch management, by identifying missing updates and link to the appropriate solution page with flagged devices and updates preselected, and creating and deploying new policies, which will allow agents will have the ability to create additional automation capabilities.
