CyberPeace has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rashtriya Raksha University, an Indian central university, over bringing joint research projects and focusing on curriculum development and student and faculty exchanges to contribute to global knowledge and enhance national security.
According to an official release, the partnership aims to harness the expertise and resources of both institutions to foster innovation and excellence in cybersecurity. From what it’s understood, a highlight of this collaboration is the establishment of the RRU-CyberPeace Center of Excellence at Rashtriya Raksha University, which should serve as a hub for research and development in cybersecurity, focusing on critical and emerging technologies.
The partnership intends to ensure capacity building through training programs in cyber operations, digital forensics, cyber law, and cyber diplomacy beyond traditional cybersecurity frameworks. It is expected to leverage the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, blockchain, and quantum computing to address cybersecurity challenges. Together, CyberPeace and Rashtriya Raksha University are believed to develop cyber threat intelligence capabilities for identifying, analysing, and mitigating potential cyber threats, and enhancing national and global cyber resilience.
“I believe the alliance between CyberPeace and RRU marks a moment in our quest for a secure cyberspace. By working together, we aim to foster a cross-border culture of cyber resilience and peace in addition to bolstering cyber defences. This partnership should demonstrate our shared dedication to protecting cyberspace and promoting a peaceful global cyber ecosystem,” Vineet Kumar, founder and global president, CyberPeace, said.
