According to Cointelegraph, an Ethereum developer used ChatGPT to launch AstroPepeX (APX), its own ERC-20 token, modelled off data from the top trading tokens on Uniswap.
Sources revealed that CroissantETH, an X (previously Twitter) user mentioned that they implemented ChatGPT into a custom application using OpenAI’s API. They are expected to use it to design and issue their own ERC-20 token with a market capital of about $3.5 million.
With insights from a report by Etherscan, there are now over 2,300 APX holders that have carried out over 17,700 transactions since the token mint on September 20, 2023, Cointelegraph added.
“In essence, it asks ChatGPT to form an ERC-20 token using Open Zeppelin standards. The token name & other parameters are designed to be passed in by values given by GPT in the code’s constructor,” Cointelegraph concluded.
