Ultrahuman, a wearable technology brand, launched PowerPlugs, an app store that lets the customers track their own health journey. From what is understood, the app allows customers to avail personalised health insights with some offers being behind the paywall. Along with the app launch, they have also launched smart rings that will do the tracking.
“When it comes to health, one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why we built PowerPlugs for people to pick and choose what matters most for their health and wellness. Over the next few years, you could expect thousands of applications to be built on top of Ultrahuman’s comprehensive health data platform,” Mohit Kumar, founder and CEO, Ultrahuman, said on the occasion.
Reportedly, the features listed under the new app are circadian rhythm, pregnancy mode, atrial fibrillation, menstrual cycle tracking, caffeine window, ovulation etc. Despite being a new launch for Ultrahuman, these technologies have been in the market already. Some of the products include Oura Ring, Fitbit, Garmin, Withings, etc.
