Scapia, India’s travel fintech platform, has launched its Winter Release 2025 with a two-part mini-series and eight new products designed to make travel more accessible and hassle-free.
The mini-series stars Akash, Krysta, and Sid—the popular trio from Scapia’s Monsoon Release 2024. The latest episodes focus on two common challenges for Indian travellers: the complexities of booking train tickets and the stress of visa applications. Both films capture everyday travel moments and introduce Scapia’s new solutions for these pain points.
The first episode, filmed entirely on a train, celebrates the nostalgia of train journeys. The background score features a unique track created with train sounds in collaboration with Tamil Canadian rapper Shan Vincent de Paul (SVDP), who also makes a cameo appearance.
The second episode dramatises the nerves many travellers face when applying for visas, likening it to exam-day jitters. The film highlights Scapia’s simplified visa services, which aim to remove much of the hassle.
“When we started working on this track, I wanted it to resonate culturally, using production that reflects the rhythm and vibrancy of our collective travel stories. We created this track using the sound of the train on tracks, which is instantly reminiscent of the joy, the nostalgia, and the bonds we form on these shared adventures. I’m thrilled to take the audience on this journey with this special project that allowed us to create something really special,” Shan Vincent De Paul, who features in one of the films for a special appearance, said.
Key features from the Winter Release
Train Ticket Bookings: Scapia now offers domestic train reservations, including Tatkal and Vande Bharat tickets, providing travellers with a straightforward booking process.
Simplified Visa Applications: With AI-enabled features, travellers can apply for visas to 45 countries using just a selfie and a passport scan. A dedicated visa expert helps ensure a smooth process.
Forex Spending Tracker: The new Trip Summary feature automatically categorises forex expenses, showing each transaction in INR and the local currency. Travellers can also track their credit limit in the local currency for better expense management.
