Campaign: Groceries delivered on time, always
Brand: Zepto
Agency: L&K Saatchi & Saatchi
Why the campaign rocks:
All we need to know about grocery delivery apps is that they’re faster and better stocked than the competition, right? This campaign nails that message. Even though it’s nearly two years old, it still sticks with me, which is exactly why it’s worth revisiting. What I love most about these ads, beyond their clean structure, relatability, and the charm of three cultural icons playing peculiar versions of themselves, is that they’re so delightfully silly. In an era where ads are, more often than not, a screaming display of quick cuts and low-frequency sounds, my heart yearns for the patient, simple and silly tone of the 90s and early 2000s.
Silliness is light on the heart and easy on the stomach. It’s a tone that invites you to tune in. And once you do, you discover wonderful, concise messaging—saying so much with so little. Watching celebrities let loose is always entertaining, but it only truly resonates when indulgence enhances, rather than overshadows the point. This campaign walks the tightrope of indulgence and messaging effortlessly and finds a rare perfection.
