N.P. Singh has decided to step down as the MD and CEO of Sony Pictures Network India (SPNI). He intends to shift from operational roles to advisory roles, according to the official communique.

“During my time here, we have established industry benchmarks, expanded our reach, and achieved many noteworthy accomplishments. I am dedicated to ensuring our legacy of success continues and grows under the new leadership,” N.P. Singh, MD and CEO, Sony Pictures Network India, said.

Singh joined the company in 1999 as its chief financial officer. He was elevated to the chief operations officer and in 2014, he was appointed as the MD and chief executive officer of the company. Singh has experience in several leadership positons in companies such as Spice Telecom, ModiCorp and Hindustan Copper Limited, among others.

As per Singh, he will continue to lead SPNI until a suitable replacement is found.
