Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra has been announced as the newest face of Audi India, marking a high-profile collaboration that brings together one of India’s most celebrated athletes with the iconic German carmaker.

The association was confirmed on Monday by JSW Sports, which manages Chopra’s commercial engagements. The move is being viewed as a natural synergy between two forces that share a commitment to excellence, innovation, and peak performance.

Chopra, known for his historic gold medal win at the Tokyo Olympics and continued dominance in the international javelin scene, spoke of his admiration for Audi, citing its cutting-edge engineering and brand ethos. “For me, the pursuit of excellence is a constant—on the field and beyond,” he said. “Joining the Audi family feels right, as they represent progress and ambition in everything they do.”

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, echoed the sentiment, describing Chopra as a natural fit for the brand. “Neeraj’s journey—from humble beginnings to global recognition—is one of relentless focus and determination,” Dhillon said. “These are values we deeply respect and champion at Audi.”

The partnership adds another feather to Chopra’s cap, further solidifying his position as not just an elite athlete but a sought-after brand ambassador. Karan Yadav, Chief Commercial Officer at JSW Sports, called the collaboration “a seamless match,” underscoring the shared philosophy between Chopra and Audi. “Neeraj genuinely resonates with the Audi brand, and that authenticity makes this partnership especially meaningful,” Yadav noted.

The announcement follows Chopra’s recent international appearances, including a strong showing at the Janusz Kusociński Memorial in Poland, where he claimed second place with a throw of 84.14m. Earlier, he breached the 90-metre mark at the Doha Diamond League, finishing just behind Germany’s Julian Weber, adding yet another milestone to his already stellar career.

The tie-up is expected to feature a mix of promotional campaigns and appearances, with Audi leveraging Chopra’s global appeal and inspirational journey to connect with younger, performance-driven audiences.
