mFilterIt has launched TickR, an AI-powered solution to help advertisers comply with the Supreme Court of India’s new directive. The directive requires self-declaration certificates for all advertisements released after June 18th, 2024, to ensure it is free from misleading claims. Reportedly, existing advertisements are exempt from this requirement. Non-compliance could result in legal repercussions.
TickR aims to simplify the compliance process by offering automated checks against guidelines from the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI), the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Surveyor General of India, brand-specific guidelines, and advertising platform best practices. As per the company, it automates compliance monitoring, reviews ads within minutes, and helps advertisers save time and resources while ensuring adherence to guidelines.
“This new mandate underscores the importance of transparency and responsible advertising practices. Advertisers who fail to comply risk legal repercussions and damage to their brand reputation. mFilterIt goes beyond regulatory compliance by offering influencer monitoring. This feature helps identify potential digital advertising and brand guideline violations like ad disclosure mention, etc.,” Amit Relan, CEO and co-founder, mFilterIt, said.
The company claims that by leveraging TickR, advertisers can safeguard their brand reputation, optimise creative performance for better results, and avoid legal implications from non-compliance. Furthermore, TickR aims to streamline and automate the ad creative compliance checking process before rollout and makes the self-declaration certificate submission process seamless to help build trust and transparency in the advertising ecosystem.
