Warner Bros. Discovery announced in a regulatory filing on Monday that Li Haslett Chen, a member of the company’s board of directors and its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, will resign from her roles effective January 31, 2025.
Chen, who joined the board in April 2022, stated that her decision was driven by the need to focus on her company, Howl, which facilitates collaboration between social media creators and brands.
“As Howl enters a major phase of growth in 2025, I have decided to dedicate my full attention to the company,” Chen said in a statement.
Warner Bros. Discovery indicated that it will fill the vacancy created by Chen’s departure.
