Weekends are all about downtime. After a week full of work to meet deadlines, everybody needs some breather to relax and recuperate. From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Gautam Rajesh Shelley, CEO & founder, AiSensy, talks to BrandWagon Online about his weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.
What is the one thing you like to do when not working?
I love meditating and reading non-fiction. Books on marketing & startups mostly. Also, if I get the time, I like travelling to hill stations.
How do you spend your weekends?
Weekends are my time to focus more on strategic planning. I enjoy taking a step back to think about the bigger picture and long-term goals for AiSensy. It’s a crucial part of ensuring our continued growth and innovation.
What are your favourite gadgets?
iPhone and iPad – they are my constant companions. I’m also eager to try out the Meta Ray-Ban glasses. The idea of having a computer screen built right into my sunglasses is mind-blowing!
Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?
I would have been a content creator. I believe in the impact of storytelling and know that it’s a powerful way to share ideas and engage with a wider audience.
Which is your favorite vacation spot?
Naukuchiatal is my go-to place for a break from Delhi’s heat and pollution. Growing up near the hills I am used to the fresh air, scenic views and green fields stretching as far as the eyes can see. It’s hard to find all this in the hustle and bustle of city life. The serene lake, the fresh air, and the peaceful surroundings of Naukuchiatal offer a perfect escape from city life. It’s a place where I can truly unwind and find inspiration.
A TV show, a movie, and an ad campaign you highly recommend watching
I loved binging on Money Heist and Suits. The Social Network is a must-watch for anyone fascinated by the tech world. And Cred’s ad campaigns are a brilliant blend of creativity and strategy – they’re a masterclass in modern marketing.
