CashKaro and Owled Media collaborated to produce three ad films with actress Genelia Deshmukh. The film depicts the shopping habits of three members of Genelia’s onscreen family. The focus is on demonstrating how they can save on their spending by using the CashKaro app.

In the second film, Genelia reminds her sister to use CashKaro while shopping for a pricey lipstick. The last film showcases her husband searching for a trimmer online.
These comical narratives highlight CashKaro’s benefits, offering discounts and instant cashback directly to users’ bank accounts. The films reinterpret the iconic tune from the Bollywood film “Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na,” originally “Pappu can’t dance saala,” as “Pappu can’t shop saala.” This twist triggers a sense of nostalgia among the audience while also building brand awareness and introducing the audience to CashKaro’s various features.
