What is the one thing you like to do when not working?

Outside of work, I am all about staying active, badminton and cricket are my go-to sports to blow off steam. I also have a green thumb and love getting my hands dirty with organic farming. When I need to recharge mentally, I reach for a book, especially the ones on business and media trends. They offer fresh perspectives, often inspiring new ideas that I can bring back to my work.

How do you spend your weekends?

Sundays are my version of hitting ‘pause.’ I prefer keeping it low-key, catching up with a few close friends over a casual game of cricket or badminton. As a foodie, I am always in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, whether it is perfecting a classic dish or trying something bold. And when the mood strikes, I take my car out for a long drive, usually to quiet, scenic spots away from the city’s buzz. It is my way of reflecting, recharging, and embracing the beauty of nature.

What are your favourite gadgets?

I am a minimalist when it comes to tech, just give me my phone and MacBook, and I am happy. I do not chase the latest gadgets; instead, I wait until my devices are ancient relics before I consider upgrading. Simplicity is key!

Given the option to choose another career, what would it be?

If I weren’t in my current field, I would probably be running my own restaurant or boutique hotel. Food has always been a passion of mine, and the idea of creating memorable dining experiences excites me. I love the way food can bring people together, and as a restaurateur, I would want to cultivate that sense of connection, whether through a cosy café or a fine dining experience. Hospitality is an art form, and I would have loved to be at the centre of it.

Which is your favourite vacation spot?

I have always been drawn to places that offer a sense of adventure and tranquillity, which is why wildlife destinations captivate me. There is something magical about witnessing animal migrations or exploring nature reserves. At the same time, the mountains call to me, whether it is hiking, trekking, or just soaking in the crisp air and stunning views. Both settings help me unplug from the world and reconnect with nature’s raw beauty.

A TV show, a movie, and an ad campaign you highly recommend watching.

Silicon Valley is one of my favourite shows, it captures the unpredictable journey of entrepreneurship with humour and sharp insights into tech culture. When it comes to films, Steve Jobs by Danny Boyle is my all-time favourite – it is a fascinating exploration of innovation and leadership, portrayed through gripping storytelling. As for ad campaigns, the CRED campaign featuring Rahul Dravid is pure brilliance. It is both nostalgic and unexpected, showing a different side of a beloved figure, which makes it memorable and impactful.
