Loopex Digital’s latest study revealed Bangkok to be the top city for marketing specialists with as many as about 6900 job posts available.
The only city representing India in the study was Delhi, ranked at 27 with the about 1800 job posts available. The yearly salary for marketing specialists in Delhi rounded up to $10,690 with a shocking 8.18% unemployment rate, one of the highest in the study. In the category of safety index, Delhi scored a composite score of 40.7 as compared to a score of 83.8 scored by Dubai, declared the safest city in the report. The report also stated that there are 218 marketing companies in Delhi awarding the city with an overall composite score of 0.26 as compared to an overall composite score of 33.41 which was allotted to Bangkok.
The study released the results with key determinants like yearly salary of the marketing specialists, job posts, cost of living, unemployment rate, rent and safety as metrics. From what is understood, the study was done for 100 cities across the world based on Forbes magazine’s listings and data from Glassdoor, a job and recruiting site. However, reliable data of only 29 cities are listed in the study.
The top ten cities, according to the report, are Bangkok, Dubai, Singapore, Munich, São Paulo, Seoul, Tokyo, Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Amsterdam, in that order. The city boasting the highest cost of living is New York City with $1,621.60 and a rent of $3,441. San Francisco offers the highest salary at $93,479 while São Paulo offers the most jobs at 5,776.
