Agora, Inc. (NASDAQ: API), a platform for real-time engagement APIs, has announced a new partnership with EZDRM, the provider of Digital Rights Management as a Service (DRMaaS). The partnership aims to deliver secure, interactive experiences that protect content while engaging audiences.
“We chose to work with EZDRM because of their solutions and commitment to providing security. I think our partnership is important for our customers who require interactive live streaming with content protection. By integrating their cutting-edge DRM technology with our real-time engagement platform, I believe we can now offer a solution that delivers user experiences across a variety of applications, from sports broadcasting and betting to real-time karaoke. We look forward to working collaboratively to create comprehensive resources for customers and push the boundaries of secure, interactive live streaming,” Tony Zhao, co-founder and CEO, Agora, said.
Through its partnership with EZDRM, Agora is believed to be integrating real-time engagement capabilities with content protection solutions, providing secure, end-to-end real-time media streaming to address this need. From what it’s understood, this combination caters to the demand for real-time user experiences and provides creators and broadcasters with the assurance they need to distribute their content to their audience. Reportedly, EZDRM’s WebRTC-DRM solution complements Agora’s real-time engagement technology, simplifying the implementation of live streaming content for Agora customers. As part of the partnership, EZDRM will seemingly collaborate with Agora to define and develop the integration, create a reference implementation and documentation, and provide support for customer engagements.
“We are looking forward to partnering with Agora and align our DRM services with their real-time engagement solutions. Together, we aim to empower content creators and broadcasters to deliver interactive experiences that not only captivate audiences but also secure their revenue streams and protect their intellectual property,” Olga Kornienko, co-founder and COO, EZDRM, said.
