PNB MetLife, a life insurance company in India, announced the appointment of Mahendra Munot as Chief Operations Officer (COO). Mahendra Munot brings more than two decades of experience in the life insurance industry to his role. Since joining PNB MetLife in 2015, he has served in various leadership roles including Director of Technical Operations, the company said.

With a strong presence in 150 branches and access to customers in over 18,600 locations (as of March 31, 2023) through bank partnerships, PNB MetLife offers a comprehensive product portfolio covering child education, family protection, long-term saving and retirement.
Last month, PNB MetLife had appointed Sameer Bansal as its managing director and chief executive, effective July 1.
During the same month, the company had declared Rs 930 crore bonus for FY24, a payout that will benefit 5.82 lakh customers. Compared with the bonus in the previous fiscal, this is 21 per cent more.
