Terminal 1’s roof collapses

In the meantime, torrential rains early on Friday caused a section of the roof of Delhi Airport’s Terminal-1 to collapse on cars, including cabs, injuring six persons, according to Delhi Fire Services (DFS) authorities.

They claimed that a search is in progress to ensure that the damaged cars are not home to any more people. According to the officials, in addition to the roof sheet, the support beams also gave way, causing damage to the vehicles parked at the terminal’s pick-and-drop area.
