The all-new Maruti Suzuki eVX concept electric SUV made its global debut in India at the Auto Expo 2023. It will be the company’s first-ever electrified offering for the Indian market.
-
The upcoming Maruti eVX is claimed to offer a driving range of up to 550 km per charge and will be launched in 2025. Moreover, Suzuki Motor Corporation is committed to invest INR 100 billion for the production of BEVs and batteries in India.

In terms of design, the eVX concept SUV looks quite different from other Maruti cars that we have on sale in India. This electric SUV gets a tall and flat bonnet with all-LED headlamps, dual-tone bumpers and a big Suzuki logo.
-
The side profile shows the coupe-like design of the SUV, thanks a sloping roofline. Moreover, it gets large alloy wheels and chunky body-cladding all around.
-
At the rear, one can see the connected LED taillamps of the eVX and a roof-mounted spoiler. There are also dual-tone bumpers along with crease & cuts on the body lines to make it look sportier.
-
The production-spec version of the Maruti Suzuki eVX electric SUV will have a 60 kWh battery pack with a safe battery technology. It is based on an all-new dedicated EV platform and is claimed to offer a driving range of up to 550 km per charge.
-
In terms of dimensions, the eVX will measure 4,300 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,600 mm in height. As per some media reports, Maruti might also introduce a lower-spec version of the eVX with under 50 kWh battery pack and a real-world range of around 400 km per charge.
