Goa-based EV startup, Kabria Mobility, has launched two new electric motorcycles in India – KM3000 and KM4000 – priced at Rs 1.74 lakh and Rs 1.76 lakh, ex-showroom. The two electric motorcycles feature an aluminium core hub motor powertrain, developed in collaboration with Foxconn.
Moving on to the motorcycles themselves, the KM3000 is a fully-faired motorcycle, while the KM4000 is a street naked. They are both underpinned by the same diamond steel tube frame, while the swingarm is made of steel or aluminium alloy, depending on the sub-variants of the motorcycles.
The two motorcycles get telescopic forks made by Showa, a monoshock at the rear, disc brakes at both ends, 17-inch wheels, a combined braking system, and a modular battery pack with an onboard charger.
Speaking of the battery pack, the motorcycles get a 4.1kWh or a 5.15kWh battery pack – depending on the standard or V variants – which offers a range of 178km or 201km depending on the sub-variants again. Both models have a top speed of 120kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 2.9 seconds with a claimed torque of 192Nm.
The company says that the test Rides for the KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II models will be at selected locations, while deliveries will commence in March 2024 through Kabira Mobility’s dealer network.
